Oakridge Plantation on Daufuskie has the best beach in the Southeast. Period. Located between the Melrose and Bloody Point communities, Oakridge is 700 acres of prime forest property that extends from the middle of Daufuskie to the white sand beaches on the Atlantic. Access to Oakridge is from the Melrose Ferry, private boat, and owners who are also members at Haig Point can utilize the private Haig Point ferry system and water taxi.
